Dr Joe Huang graduated from Sun Yat-Sen Medical University in China and worked in general medicine and then in the area of Ear, Nose and Throat. After migrating to Australia 20 years ago, he had worked in medical research and as lecturer at the University of Sydney, before re-commencing clinical training. He was trained in Westmead and Gosford hospitals for three years in the areas of general medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, women’s health, paediatrics, mental health, drug and alcohol, geriatrics, before starting general practice training. He then had training in general practice. His areas of interest include general medicine, children’s health, mental health, women's health, ENT, geriatrics, travel medicine, skin cancer, and drug & alcohol (such as Detox programs).
